Getting an appliance fixed in Pitsmoor
Pitsmoor climbs the hill from Spital Hill up Burngreave Road, with villas along the main road and terraced streets around them. If your house is split into flats, tell us the flat number, the door to use and any steps when you book.
We repair washing machines, dishwashers, fridge freezers, ovens, cookers and tumble dryers from all major brands, freestanding or built in. Your full S4 postcode shows the fixed labour price before you share any details. The engineer tests the appliance, explains the fault and prices any part before it is fitted.
Same-day and next-day appointments are available, subject to availability. The team calls to confirm the time and anything the engineer needs to know.

Yes. Pitsmoor and Burngreave are in S4, which we cover. Enter your full postcode in the quote form to confirm the address and see the labour price straight away.
My washing machine won't open its door after a cycle. Should I force it?
No. Switch it off for ten minutes; many door locks release once the machine cools. If it stays shut, there may be water left in the drum or a faulty lock, and the engineer can release it safely.

About Pitsmoor
Pitsmoor is a former village on the hillside north-east of the city centre. Christ Church was built in 1850, and Abbeyfield House and its grounds were bought by the council in 1909 to become Abbeyfield Park. Devon Gardens, off Abbeyfield Road, followed in 1913.
